The Czech Republic says it will be investing three million euros per year in various sectors of Zambia from 2024 upto 2030.
Czech Ambassador to Zambia Pavel Prochazka says Zambia has been prioritized in the European country’s Development Cooperation.
Mr. Prochazka says the Czech Republic is investing in education, health, nutrition and many other sectors of the country to promote development.
Speaking at the Czech National Day in Lusaka, Mr. Prochazka said Zambia has been prioritized because it stood with the Czech people when the former Soviet Union occupied the country.
He said former President Dr. Kenneth Kaunda spoke against Soviet aggression and the country has remained consistent on international order.
