Two Men Take Turns To Rape 20 Year Old Female In Kitwe, One Arrested

A 20 year old female of Kitwe’s Chimwemwe Township on the Copperbelt has been raped by two men she can easily identify if seen. She sustained painful vagina and general body pains.
The Incident Occurred on October 14, 2024 around 03:30 hours at Chimwemwe Bar Junction Chimwemwe Kitwe.
Brief Facts of the matter are that, the victim on Sunday October 13, at around 21:00 hours went to drink beer with her sister at Tukuzi Bar leaving her 9 months old baby sleeping in the house.
Copperbelt police Commanding Officer Peacewell Mweemba tells Mafken News that at around 03 hours, the victim decided to go and check on her baby and on the way when she reached Chimwemwe Bar junction, she was followed from behind by one man.
Mr. Mweemba adds that the said man then grabbed her by the neck, the second man joined and grabbed her Jump suit she was wearing in the process it got ton. The third man came on the scene and started beating her.
She was later pushed on the ground and after the debate who to start raping her first, the one wearing a grey jacket had carnal knowledge of her, after he finished, the one who was wearing a short came on.
Mr. Mweemba further reveals that the victim began to shout for help and two boys came to her rescue. While the others escaped upon seeing the two rescuers approaching, the victim however managed to hold on to the one on top of her as he was busy having carnal knowledge of her.
An arrest has since been made on Mwamba Kabwe one of the rapists she held on to aged 19 of House Number 4858 Chimwemwe Kitwe.
