Copperbelt University Breaks Ground on New 1,000-Seat Auditorium

The Copperbelt University (CBU) is set to construct a state-of-the-art 1,000-seat auditorium at its Riverside campus.
The ground-breaking ceremony for the new auditorium took place today at the university premises.
CBU Vice Chancellor Professor Imasiku Nyambe in his remarks emphasized that the construction of the auditorium underscores the university’s commitment to enhancing its teaching and research spaces, noting that this development will make CBU more attractive to students across Africa and beyond.
And Kitwe Mayor Mpasa Mwaya hailed the initiative as a milestone for the university, aiming to elevate Kitwe district’s profile on the higher education landscape.
