COMESA Calls For Cancer Awareness In Zambia

Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) secretary general Chileshe Kapwepwe says there is need to raise cancer awareness in the country.
Ms Kapwepwe says many people are usually not aware about the prevention and treatment of the disease hence the need for sensitisation.
She was speaking during celebrations to mark COMESA’s 30th University which was characterized by a golf tournament.
She said the proceeds from the tournament will be channalled to the cancer treatment center at the University Teaching hospital.
