Mufulira District Zambia Police Celebrates Humanitarian Day with Cemetery Cleanup

The Zambia Police Service in Mufulira District on the Copperbelt Province marked Humanitarian Day by organizing a cleanup at Kansuswa Cemetery.
Speaking during the clean-up exercise District Commanding Officer Patrick Muti emphasized that this initiative is part of a long-term program aimed at enhancing the community’s environment.
And Mufulira Municipal Council’s Director of Public Health, Paul Mukuka, commended the police for their dedication and underscored the vital role they play in the community.
Mr Mukaka encouraged local churches and businesses to join this initiative and contribute to maintaining the cemetery’s cleanliness.
He reiterated that the Council’s readiness to collaborate with the police in this essential community effort.
