Mufulira District Faces Total Fuel Shortage

Mufulira District has completely run out of fuel, as a check by Mafken News has confirmed that no fuelling stations are currently selling fuel.
The shortage is due to ongoing protests by the Oil Marketing Companies Association of Zambia (OMCAZ) over the recent reduction in fuel pump prices by the Energy Regulation Board (ERB).
In an exclusive interview with Mafken News, OMCAZ President Kafula Mubanga expressed optimism that the stakeholder engagement meetings between oil marketing companies and the ERB will lead to a feasible resolution.
Dr. Mubanga expects that fuel supplies will stabilize in the coming days.
