Stakeholders Buy Into ZESCO’s Proposal For Emergency Tariff Adjustment

Some stakeholders have started buying into ZESCO’s proposal for emergency tariff application to the Energy Regulation Board (ERB).
Most of them state that the upwards tariff adjustments are justified if ZESCO improves on its service delivery.
This was during a public hearing in Lusaka for ZESCO’S tariff adjustment application.
And Business Coalition Task Force representative Mark Odono said people want to see changes in the governance of the power utility company and less interferences in its operation.
ERB will announce its decision on the application on Thursday, 10th of October, 2024.
