Mufulira PF Youth Chairman Questions Mokambo Borehole Commissioning

Mufulira District Patriotic Front (PF) Youth Chairman Gift Chibale has expressed concern over the failure to commission a borehole in Mokambo, questioning Kantanshi Member of Parliament Anthony Mumba about its current status.
Recently Mr Mumba was set to commission a borehole constructed using the Constituency Development Fund CDF but was not.
In an exclusive interview with Mafken News Mr Chibale stated that the borehole was intended to provide clean water to the community but is reportedly supplying water to a private entity instead.
He emphasized the community’s ongoing struggle with access to clean water adding residents deserve answers to ensure their needs are addressed effectively.
In response, Kantanshi Member of Parliament Anthony Mumba acknowledged the situation, describing it as an embarrassment.
