Counterfeit solar accessories have flooded the Zambian market.
And the Solar Industry Association of Zambia has noted the situation with sadness
Association vice president Chanda Mulenga says as such, some households have witnessed accidents and in some instances resulting into death.
He was speaking during the during the power 24 expo in Lusaka.
And Small and Medium Entreprise minister Elias Mubanga regretted the collapse of some small scale business as a result of the power deficit being experienced in the country.
