Farmers Urged To Take Proactive Steps Ahead Of The Rainy Season

Agriculture Expert Oliver Bulaya has called upon farmers across the country to take proactive steps in preparation for the challenges ahead.
Speaking in an interview with Mafken, Dr. Bulaya emphasized the importance of early action, highlighting the need for farmers to purchase fertilizers and essential inputs as soon as possible.
He noted that, with the anticipation of increased demand for fertilizers this year as farmers aim to recover from previous losses, early procurement is seen as crucial to avoid potential shortages and rising prices.
Meanwhile, he has urged farmers to secure all necessary inputs, including pesticides, herbicides, and other relevant chemicals, without delay.
