Nine Juveniles Abducted In A Guise To Load Manganese in Luanshya

Nine boys between the ages of 13 and 16 years of Kapiri mposhi district are reported to have been abducted by a man only identified as Jose.
The nine juveniles were found along Kamirenda road in Luanshya where they were asking for the way to Kapiri Mposhi.
The boys were brought to the police by Simon Malichanga a charcoal seller aged 35 years of Mpongwe who is also the reporter in the matter.
Brief facts of the matter are that on 27th September, 2024 at 07:00 hrs the nine victims were picked at Kapiri Mposhi turn-off by a male person only identified as Jose other details not known to come and load Manganese in Luanshya.
The boys were however surprised that they came to start loading Copper Ore in Roan area without being paid until 28th September, 2024 at 16:00 hours.
After loading, they decided to go back to Kapiri Mposhi where they met the reporter who was selling charcoal along Kamirenda area in Luanshya.
Copperbelt Police Commanding Officer Peacewell Mweemba tells Mafken News that the nine victims are currently kept at Luanshya Central Police station while Kapiri Mposhi Police and parents to the victims have since been informed about the matter.
