CSO Alliance Condemns CDF Increment In 2025 National Budget

The Civil Society organisations Alliance has questioned the increase in the allocation of Constituency Development Fund (CDF) in the 2025 proposed National Budget.
Finance and Nation Planning Minister Dr. Situmbeko Musotwane announced the upward adjustment of CDF to a tune of K36.1 per constituency.
While appreciating the adjustment, Alliance Consultant Kalunga Sampa said several local authorities in the country have underutilised the funds adding that the adjustment should have waited until all issues were sorted out.
