Murundu Police Post Opened In Mufulira

Mufulira Municipal Council has handed over a Police Post to Zambia Police Service in Murundu Ward which has been constructed using the 2023 Constituency Development Fund for Kantanshi Constituency.
Mufulira Town Clerk Kasonde Musongole has disclosed that the facility has been constructed at a total cost of K 1.5 million.
Kantanshi Constituency Member of Parliament Anthony Mumba is elated by opening of the police post stating that the facility will help in reducing criminal activities in the area.
He adds that cases of child abuse in Murundu have risen recently and the construction of the police post will help in curbing the vice.
Meanwhile, Mufulira District Officer Command Patrick Mutti has urged locals to desist from taking the law into their hands and safeguard the new Police post jealously.
