Zambia to Launch Solar Panel and Battery Manufacturing Plant

Minister of Commerce Industry and industry Chipoka Mulenga says Zambia will soon set up a solar panel and battery manufacturing plant.
Mr. Mulenga says Zambia is one of the cheapest countries in the world capable of setting an electric battery plant.
He has told Mafken News in Lusaka that government in currently in talks with the neighbouring Democratic Republic of Congo on how best they can collaborate to utilize the available natural resources needed for the plant.
