MUFULIRA TO EXPERIENCE MORE WATER SHORTAGES IN NEXT ONE MONTH

Mulonga Water and Sanitation Company has disclosed that Mufulira District will endure more water shortages in the next one month due to maintenance works.
Mulonga Managing Director Ndila Hamalambo says the company will be doing pipe interconnections in the coming month, an exercise that will interrupt water supply to its customers.
Mr.Ndila has however urged Mufulira residents to exercise patience during the said period, assuring that the crisis of water will be over before the end of this year.
Meanwhile, Mufulira Central Member of Parliament Golden Mwila has challenged Mulonga Water and Sanitation Company to stick to deadlines as it works on projects that are aimed at eradicating the water crisis in the District.
He adds that residents are slowly losing confidence in the company and local leaders because many water projects in the district have taken long without being completed.
