BETUZ to Construct 60,000 Housing Units for Teachers Nationwide

The Basic Education Teachers Union of Zambia (BETUZ) has announced plans to build over 60,000 housing units for teachers across the country toaddress the severe housing shortage faced by teaching staff.
BETUZ Director of Public and International Relations, Obby Chisala, stated that the project will prioritize teachers in rural areas, where the housing crisis is most acute.
Mr Chisala further revealed that the union is collaborating with international partners to secure funding for the ambitious project.
