ZAM Calls for Platforms to Boost Local Mineral Value Addition

Zambia Association of Manufacturers (ZAM) President Ashu Saga has called for the creation of platforms to enhance local suppliers’ ability to add value to minerals such as copper.
Speaking at the Mining Local Content Conference and Expo in Kitwe, Mr Saga emphasized the importance of validating local content in the market.
And Acting President Mutale Nalumango, who launched the event, highlighted the crucial role manufacturer’s play in driving business transitions and advancing the country’s economic growth.
Mrs Nalumango also revealed that the “Proudly Zambia” campaign, is an initiative designed to build local expertise in the mining sector and beyond.
