The Zambia Inter-Religious for Peace and Development has called for dialogue among political players to maintain peace and unity in the country.

Chairperson Reverend Bishop David Masupa emphasized that Zambia needs peace, love, and unity to become a prosperous nation.

He made these remarks in Lusaka during the commemoration of the Peace Road Zambia 2024, celebrated under the theme “Connecting the World Through Peace.”

Meanwhile, Universal Peace Federation President Reverend Isaac Phiri stated that a peaceful society can only be achieved when people from all backgrounds come together.

Speaking at the event, Lusaka Province Minister Sheal Mulyata urged the church to help break down barriers that threaten peace and unity in society.
