NAQEZ APPEALS TO THE REPUBLICAN PRESIDENT OVER UPGRADES AND CONFIRMATIONS OF TEACHERS

The National Quality for Education in Zambia -NAQEZ- has appealed to President Hakainde Hichilema to quickly intervene in the issue of upgrading thousands of teachers in new and rightful salary scales and confirming others in substantive positions.
Speaking in a statement availed to Mafken FM radio, NAQEZ-Executive Director Aaron Chansa has called for a policy conference on the upgrades and around teachers who have been acting for many years without being confirmed.
Mr. Chansa adds that, NAQEZ is ready to organize this conference where Government and stakeholders can meet for practical engagements aimed at finding lasting solutions to teacher motivation.
