A 38-YEAR-OLD NDOLA MAN ARRESTED FOR HAVING SEX WITH A GOAT

A 38-year-old man of Mukolwe area in Ndola District on the Copperbelt has been charged with bestiality after being found having Canal Knowledge of a She-goat.
Copperbelt Province Police Commanding Officer Peacewell Mweemba, confirms to Mafken FM Radio that the suspect has been identified as Mwape Mwabela of Mukolwe Area.
Mr. Mweemba explains that around 23:00 hours on 30th July, 2023, at Janerich farm, Kennedy Sileke, the farm manager was awakened by his wife who told him to go and check on the goat pen as there was a strange noise coming from the shelter.
Mr Mweemba says the complainant then went out to check and was surprised to find the door to the goat pen which was previously closed, wide open and heard a goat crying from a nearby bush.
He says Sileke then followed the direction of the noise and when he drew closer, he saw Mwape who was half naked in the act of having sex with the goat despite it crying so loud.
Mr Mweemba states that the Farm Manager then tried to restrain the suspect, however, he became unruly and violent as he tried to free himself, but he was eventually overpowered.
Mr. Mweemba also reveals that during the struggle, the suspect sustained injuries and was taken to Ndola Teaching Hospital for medical treatment by the Police, where he has been admitted and is currently under Police guard.
Mr Mweemba further says that the she-goat has since been medically examined by the veterinary doctor whose findings are consistent with the alleged offence and a docket has been opened.
