CONSTRUCTION OF AN ISOLATION WARD IN MUFULIRA’S CHIBOLYA TOWNSHIP AT 90%

A civic leader has disclosed that the Isolation ward being built in Chibolya Township in Mufulira District on the Copperbelt under the 2022 Constituency development fund –CDF- will most likely be completed in September.
Speaking in an interview with Mafken FM radio, Councillor for John Kampengele Ward of Kankoyo Constituency, Kelvin Mambwe says the project has reached 90% and the works are being done by Lad Star Contractors.
Mr Mambwe says the isolation ward is going to be put up to ensure that in case there is an outbreak of cholera or any infectious diseases in the future, victims will have a decent isolation place to receive the attention and treatment needed to recover.
