AGRICULTURE EXPERT CONCERNED OVER SOARING MEALIE MEAL PRICES DESPITE AVAILABLE SOLUTIONS

Agriculture Expert, Dr. Oliver Bulaya has noted with concern the continued rise in Mealie Meal prices, when the country has solutions in its disposal.
Speaking in an interview with Mafken FM radio, Dr. Bulaya says the New Dawn Government was voted into power to provide solutions to the high cost of inputs and mealie-meal, which they pledged to reverse.
Dr. Bulaya however, states that, this cannot be achieved overnight but they have what it takes to overcome the challenge.
He has highlights that, over dependence on Urea from countries like Russia and Ukraine, as well as the country’s debt burden have contributed immensely to the challenge.
