MWEENE OFFICIALLY RETIRES FROM PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL AT 38

Mamelodi Sundowns have confirmed that Zambia legendary goalkeeper Kennedy Mweene has officially hung his gloves after an illustrious career.
Mweene has won over 15 major titles including 8 PSL League titles, 3 Nedbank Cups, 2 Telkom Knockout 1 MTN 8, 1 NFD Title , 1 CAF Super League, 1 CAF Champions League and an African Cup Of Nations title.
The 38-year-old is one of the most decorated players both at the club and international level in Southern Africa.
The Mamelodi Sundowns have disclosed that Mweene has been helping in coaching goalkeepers and now a decision has been reached as earlier confirmed by the Premier Soccer League champions.
He is expected to continue as Assistant Coach to Wendell Robinson in the Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeping department.
