Fire kills woman, 7 children

AN INFERNO has killed a woman, 31, and her seven biological children aged between two and 18 in Katwatwa village of Nsama district in Northern Province.
Police spokesperson Rae Hamoonga says the eight were burnt to death on Sunday around 22:00 hours after their grass-thatched house caught fire from a brazier.
Mr Hamoonga said in a statement yesterday that the woman and her children had the brazier in the house to keep them warm as they retired to bed
