Storm Ana to cause more rain in South, West Zambia

The Zambia Meteorological Department says the Tropical Storm Ana has been weakening as it moves westwards from Southern, Western Province into Angola.
Meteorologist Bethsheba Musonda says although the system is weakening, it is expected to enhance rainfall over Southern and Western province in the next 24hrs to 48 hrs.
She notes that the system moved westwards along the Southern borders of Zambia causing heavy rainfall over southern province and parts of Lusaka Provinces.
Ms. Musonda says the Tropical Storm Ana is projected to move further westwards into Angola by Saturday January, 29th 2022.
