Mufulira records 90 covid-19 positive cases

Mufulira District Commissioner Saboi Kabika has bemoaned the low levels of adherence to covid 19 by members of the public that has seen the district record a staggering number of covid 19 positive cases.
Ms. Kabika has disclosed that from the 2,040 tests conducted yesterday 90 cases were positive and that 12, 000 people in the district have been vaccinated with 4 admitted to the hospital.
She says the district has continued to roll out covid 19 vaccination exercises with a view to mitigate the spread of the pandemic.
The District Commissioner said this in an interview with Mafken FM radio today.
