SUSPECTED JERABO SHOT DEAD

A suspected Jerabo Kennedy Mwaba aged 19 was shot dead and died on the spot in the incident that occured on Saturday around 11:30 hours at Mopani Copper Mine Sinkhole in which a Police Officer who was guarding the mentioned Restricted Area, was attacked by a group of about 30 Suspected criminals armed with iron bars and shovels.
And Mufulira District Commissioner Mike Manda has called on youths of Kankoyo to desist from riotous behavior adding that government will soon reach to their demands to ensure that jobs are created for them.
Mr. Manda has appealed to all Kankoyo residents to be in their best behavior as they attend the burial of Kennedy Mwaba today
