Pharmaceutical expert says Covid 19 vaccine is not an urgent need for Zambia

A Pharmaceutical Expert Jerome Kanyika says the Covid-19 vaccine is not A vital need for the country.And Mr. Kanyika says the Astra-Zaneca vaccine government bought is not the right vaccine to the type of virus the country is facing.He has urged government to concentrate on restocking health facilities with essential drugs and cleaning materials used in theatres that have run out.Meanwhile Mr. Kanyika says that a review of the first quarter of 2021 has shown a reduction in the number of covid-19 cases.He said this in an interview with Mafken FM radio today.
