Zambians from across the country have condemned the unruly behavior of PF cadres who on Sunday savagely beat up UPND 2021 Chilanga constituency aspiring candidate Chamine Musonda.
Ms. Musonda together with two others was assaulted at her home by PF cadres for no apparent reasons.
The latter is nursing serious injuries. And opposition National Democratic Congress NDC National Youth leader Charles Kabwita has regretted the attack on innocent citizens adding that it is unfortunate that the PF is championing violence.
And Copper belt Provincial Women’s Chairlady Lillian Kapusana says yesterday’s act is a criminal offense in its highest order and the police should bring to book all the perpetrators of the crime. Ms. Kapusana said this in a statement availed in Mafken Radio today.
Meanwhile, the Movement for Democratic Change has condemned continued reports of political violence perpetuated by some individuals claiming to belong to known political parties against their opponents. MDC President Felix Mutati has told Mafken FM Radio that such violence perpetuated by some hooligans in the name of politics must be condemned by all well meaning Zambians
